We’re thrilled to announce the Regional Trails Master Plan for West Michigan—a plan for non-motorized, multi-use pathways connecting west Michigan communities and destinations.

The project kicked off in October with the West Michigan Trail Summit. The event brought together stakeholders from across the region to discuss current and planned regional trails, emphasizing the importance of connectivity and consistent trail wayfinding.
The Spring Trail Summit wrapped up in March, where we meet with stakeholder sub-region groups to present the trail impact analysis and discuss priorities. Links to the presentation and meeting summaries are available for download at the bottom of the page.
Public input will be gathered during the summer, followed by the final planning document.
