The Recreational Authority of Roseville and Eastpointe offers programs that support healthy lifestyles, promote leisure activity, athletics, educational pursuits and family-like support for the entire community.

The Annual Big Bird Run, held on the 2nd Sunday of November, consists of a 10K Run, 4K Run, and 1 Mile Fun Run. This event brings as many as 900 runners from across Windsor and Michigan to compete each year. Sign the family up for some fitness fun! Walk in Michigan is a program designed to encourage fitness and promote healthy lifestyles while enjoying the natural beauty of Michigan. Each time you participate at a scheduled walk you will be entered to win a special prize.

Walks are on  Tuesday evenings at Spindler Park and Thursday evenings at Veterans Memorial Park. All Walks begin at 6:00 pm. More information available through the Recreational Authority of Roseville and Eastpointe.

Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals offer a fun and free way to workout during the summer through Wellness Wednesdays  at the Mall at Partridge Creek. Class start in June and run through August.

McLaren Macomb sponsers the Mall Walking Program at the Macomb Mall.  With a climate-controlled environment, Macomb Mall is the ideal place for year-round exercising  (8:00 a.m. to closing Monday through Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to closing on Sunday).
